An Introduction

Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) can be used in a lot of different applications; however, the application we would be most interested in is the use of GANs for medical/cosmetic purposes. Many children are born with cases of facial mutations. These facial mutations can cause physical and/or emotional problems to the patients (the children) themselves, this might lead to the children needing cosmetic surgeries in order to try to diminish the effects of the facial mutation. Our project consists of creating a software using the GANs method in order to create an application that creates a facial generation of the expected patients face post-surgery, in order to supply the doctor, the patient, and the parents of the patient with a depiction the outcome of the cosmetic surgery.
